Sejarah Desa Kedungbako

Desa Kedungbako berdiri pada tahun 1914, hasil dari penggabungan tiga desa kecil: Suruh, Kedungbako, dan Wonowoso.
Karena tidak memenuhi syarat sebagai desa mandiri, ketiganya disatukan dan secara musyawarah memilih nama Kedungbako.

Nama "Kedungbako" diambil dari kata kedung (sungai dalam) dan bako (tembakau), karena wilayah ini dulu dikenal sebagai daerah pertanian tembakau di sekitar sungai berarus dalam.

    Mayoritas masyarakat bekerja di sektor pertanian, peternakan, meubel, dan UMKM.
